Let There Be Music - Spring Concert
The musicians of the United Christian Parish invite you to a Spring Concert on April 28th.
- The Chancel Choir,
- Wing & a Prayer,
- Belles With Bells and
- local favorites, Salt-N-Pepper
will present music for your enjoyment Sunday evening, April 28 at 7pm. Plan to come and bring friends from the community who might enjoy an evening of music. Light refreshments will be provided following the concert.
Lake County CAN!
We are gearing up for another year of Lake County CAN! This year we plan to stock more food pantries around the Lake, and still provide 20,000 meals for overseas. Our 1st fundraiser will be a bake sale this month and a raffle on April 28th! The first event for packing meals overseas will be May 18th in Middletown. Lakeport will be August 24. We will also be participating at the Lake County Fair once again. Stay tuned for more info!
KCA Renaissance Fair
May 4th details will be on the tickets (9am-3pm)
This wonderful family event includes several Shakespeare Plays (including “Hamlet”) performed by the children of Konocti Christian Academy. Fair goers can purchase an “entry only” ticket or a full renaissance feast ticket! Fun booths, silent auction, come in your contemporary clothes or enter into the spirit and dress with a Renaissance flare! Tickets are available from Pastor Shannon.
UCP High Tea May 11 at 11am
You are invited to join us for High Tea at UCP on May 11th.
Only 25 tickets will be sold and must be purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased for $20 from the Christian Education Committee. Proceeds support the Mission Trip 2012.
We will be serving fresh baked scones, a lovely selection of sandwiches and even a sampling of caviar. Of course, no tea would be replete without sweet treats and excellent company. We’ll also share delightful stories and traditions about tea. Join us for this memorable event!
New this year, wear your favorite hat! There may be prizes!

It is with great delight that we announce the upcoming ordination of our "Timothy" Gale Tompkins-Bischel. It is a rare honor and privilege in the life of a local congregation when a member hears and answer the call to ministry as a vocation. Gale is now in what is called "The Search and Call Process." This means that she will be invited to interview with churches and ultimately will leave us to begin her ministry with another congregation.
May 18 & 19 - The 33rd Annual Lake County Passion Play
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the annual outdoor presentation of the Passion, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Passion Play Grounds, off Highway 29 about 7 miles north of Lakeport, are the setting for our reenactment, 7010 Westlake Road, Upper Lake, CA 95485
Admission to the Passion Play is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. Checks can be made out to "Lake County Passion Play"
The play is presented in its entirety both May 18 & 19 and begins at 4pm. It lasts about 2 hours.
Seating is not provided and you are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
